Birney 21

This is Birney Safety Car number 21 of the Fort Collins Municipal Railway. It operated originally from 1918 to 1951. After the end of operations, the car was put on display in a park, and restored to working order in 1984. Today you can ride part of the original line (the two other routes of the line have been paved over) for $1. The FCMR was the last street railway in Colorado (Pueblo's replaced by busses in 1948, and the Denver Tramway in 1950).
